This course has taught me how to teach. Which should go without saying considering the nature of the course. As a new teacher the course was extremely helpful in assisting me to make a lesson plan, and planning activities, and it has also helped me to understand children and gave a brief reading for children’s behaviour. This course was easy, especially because it went at a pace suitable for me. Life gave me lemons and so I made lemonade. This course was a lemon and as a result, it has aided in producing an equipped teacher.

This experience of doing this course has blessed my heart tremendously and I give God all the glory. It's hard to believe the journey has ended however I have so much to take away with me.

It was a pleasant surprise; this class was so much enjoyable than I thought. I enjoyed class materials, discussions, help and most my instructor and accessor who made me and the rest of the group feel comfortable, along with it the encouragement they give, and I am just overwhelmed that a tutor like this still exist. My name is Sinicar Henry-Andrews and I have been a student at the Grey’s Typing School at the age of 10 where I learned the skill of typewriting and was successful in the Elementary Typewriting Examination.

In 2018, I again enrolled at the now Grey’s Training & Certification Center in the Administrative Assistant Level 3. Grey’s provided me the opportunity to advance in my career by equipping me with necessary skills and knowledge needed to excel in the workplace.

I am Sheffon Lawrence. I started my training at Grey’s Training & Certification Center five years ago. Due to my age I was a little hesitant of returning to the classroom. To be honest that’s was one of the best decisions I ever made; once I began and completed the first course I knew I had to continue. The courses assist me with my every day duties on the Job and also improve myself drastically.

I am a past candidate of Grey’s Training & Certification Center. The first course I embarked on was learning the skill of typewriting with those manual typewriting machines, which today has become one of the greatest asset for my career.

My name is Terana Charles and I am a student at Greys Training and Certification Center. I began my journey at this institution in 2019 where I completed a course in QuickBooks. My experience during that short period was remarkable. I then decided to enroll in the Accounting Clerk Level 2 course in which I started October 2021 and completed my journey in October 2022.

During that one year period at Greys Training & Certification Center the experience has changed my life in so many different ways and I’m so grateful to Mrs. Grey and her team. The teachers are very professional, inspiring, committed, and passionate about their job. They are student –focused and teach you base on your level. They don’t ever move on to another topic unless you fully understand and you are ready to move on to another topic. They go above and beyond to assist you in anyway, whether it’s during or out of class.

It is more than just a classroom setting. It was more than just academics to me. I have been a student of Grey’s, as it is commonly called for several years, embarking on the various courses offered. A famous quote from a Chinese Proverb says “Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand. This is what Grey’s Training & Certification Center is all about, ensuring that when students finish, they leave with not only a certificate but understanding of the course attended.

With the tutors steering the ship with their wealth of knowledge and experiences and the active participation from my colleagues we acquired the knowledge and skills needed to make sound decisions in the workplace. The sessions were both theoretical and practical with hands-on learning that it was impossible for any student not to understand. At times I do not want the practical sessions to end because I was so involved thinking I am in the workplace rather than the classroom.

With the continuous encouragement from the tutors, Mrs. Grey and even students who have testified on their achievement because of Grey’s, gives me the drive to the next level. Sometimes I would say that’s the last course no more but a call from Mrs. Grey with an upcoming class will have you unsettled until you sign up. Courses offered by Grey’s Training & Certification Center is like thirst that cannot be quenched. As a result of Grey’s Training and Certification Center I was able to secure a job as an Administrative Assistant and feel comfortable with my duties because of the hand-on training especially. I have taken the following courses: QuickBooks, General Office Administration Level 2, Elementary Typing, Human Resource Management and Accounting Clerk Level 2 and have already signed up for Accounting Level 3 due to commence in January 2023.

I encourage everyone who has not signed up to get on board. Those who are thinking of quitting or stopping at just one course to continue. With the knowledgeable tutors and interactive teaching sessions you’re sure to benefit personally and professionally.
